About

Nice to meet you,
I'm Nof

Art therapist (M.A.)Researcher and PhD student
Artist and workshop facilitator

I'm an art therapist (M.A.), a researcher and a PhD student, and I work mainly with women and with teenagers.

My work moves between emotional therapy, art, the body, nature and holistic tools. I don't think of these as separate fields, but as different languages that can meet within a single process, according to the person and to what they need.

Alongside my clinical work, I research and write. My PhD research develops a therapeutic approach for working with adolescents in Israel, around trauma, resilience and coping with a continuing reality of uncertainty and crisis.

My way

My way

I accompany women and teenagers through searching, coping and growth, through art, nature, conversation and creative tools.

Sometimes words aren't enough, or their time hasn't come yet. Material, colour, the body and the natural world can open another way of meeting what is happening inside.

I believe in spaces that are safe, open and alive, where you can feel, create, ask and change at your own pace.

Therapy

Therapy

I work mainly with women and with teenagers.

In the therapeutic space I bring together creative expression, nature and conversation as ways of going deeper, of finding regulation, expression and a renewed sense of connection to yourself. Each process is built around the person in front of me, out of listening, sensitivity and a belief in our capacity to change and to grow.

  • Relationships and connectionConnection to body and emotion
  • Emotional regulation and overwhelmTrauma and difficult life experiences
  • Times of change and transitionLiving with pressure, uncertainty and crisis

With teenagers there is particular room for work around resilience, regulation, identity, belonging and coping with life in Israel. You can come out of difficulty, and equally out of a wish to understand yourself, to grow and to make a change.

    The clinic

    The clinic

A therapeutic, creative and holding space

My clinic in Ir Yamim, Netanya, is a quiet and welcoming space, somewhere to pause, breathe, create, and find new ways of understanding, processing and coping.

Warm light, a comfortable sofa, and a creative corner with colours, materials and small treasures from the natural world. The room was made so that you can sit and talk, and equally get up and make something.

    Nature

    Nature as a therapeutic space

For me, nature isn't only where the meeting takes place; it is part of the process itself. Earth, water, plants, the seasons, movement and natural materials can become another language within therapy — one that allows regulation, rootedness, connection to the body, a sense of belonging, and movement through change.

I bring nature in according to the person and the process, from an ecotherapeutic view in which the relationship between a person, their body and their surroundings is a meaningful part of emotional life.

    Research & writing

    Research, writing and lectures

Alongside my clinical work, I research and write about where mental health, trauma and resilience meet adolescence, creativity and innovation. My PhD research develops a therapeutic approach for working with adolescents in Israel, out of a wish to understand how therapy can respond to a complex and shifting reality, and not only to the symptoms within it.

Research and clinic feed one another. Questions that arise in the human encounter become research questions, and what emerges from the research returns to the work itself.

I also write and lecture on creativity, innovation, change and wellbeing.
